Your Role
As a Technical Recruiter at Thoughtful AI, you will be an essential element of our growth, your mission being to identify, attract and close the world's best tech talent. You'll take the reins of our recruitment strategy for the product and engineering divisions, architecting from the ground up and shaping how we scale our operations.
In this role, you'll be granted autonomy and must navigate the uncertainties of a fast-paced startup environment. We're looking for someone ready to embrace challenges, roll up their sleeves, and journey through the thrilling terrain of growth with us.
Your Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for our product and engineering departments.
- Collaborate closely with our leadership team to streamline our hiring strategy, perfecting an interview process to attract and filter top-tier talent.
- Immerse yourself within our engineering teams to garner a deep understanding of our operations, technology, and talent requirements.
- Drive innovative enhancements to our current recruitment strategies to achieve peak efficiency.
- Strategize and implement plans for sourcing diverse talent for each of your recruitment initiatives, including outbound strategy, lead generation, and face-to-face meetings.
- Network with potential candidates at industry conferences, local tech gatherings, and university recruitment drives.
- Craft detailed and engaging job descriptions and conduct prescreening procedures to evaluate the suitability of applicants.
- Interview candidates employing a mix of methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions).
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, collaborating with team leaders to ensure a smooth and inspiring transition into our team.
- A proven record of 5-7 years in technical recruitment, ideally within a technology-focused company's in-house team.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering software and frameworks.
- A genuine passion for building diverse and dynamic teams, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to attract passive candidates and build diverse talent pipelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting both professionalism and approachability.
- A growth-oriented mentality and adaptability to rapidly change tasks and priorities as situations demand (a common occurrence in our fast-paced startup environment).
