About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses, and statistical entries by analyzing account information. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts, verify postings, reconcile transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements from general and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and financial position variance analyses.
  • Conduct various account analyses to guarantee financial statement accuracy, correct documentation, and proper allocations.
  • Participate in the preparation and interpretation of documents for senior management.
  • Maintain statistical data in the financial system to ensure allocation accuracy.
  • Identify improvement areas and suggest management changes.
  • Prepare and verify worksheet information for inclusion in the Board Financial package.
  • Conduct account analyses and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare statutory reports when required.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Proficient in large ERP software usage preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for internal and external interactions.
