GENERAL FUNCTION

This role oversees day to day operations of the business, works with the sales team, CSR service staff, bookkeeping and warehouse manager. Manage the marketing manager and oversees local marketing, advertising, and social media. Manages employee initiatives and issues with HR. Secures the functionality of CCOI and to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Asisst the President to design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  2. Set comprehensive achievable goals for performance and growth
  3. Establish policies that promote a culture and vision for Cal Coast
  4. Oversees daily operations and the work of local department managers (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
  5. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  6. Evaluate sales performance by analyzing and interpreting data
  7. Write and submit reports to the President in all matters of importance
  8. Participate with the President in expansion activities, hiring and expanding sales force
  9. Assist President to manage relationships with partners/vendors

Operations

  1. Manage CSR's and oversee any invoicing issues
  2. Work with department heads daily on current business activities
  3. Work with salespeople for help on larger orders, pricing and delivery
  4. Communicates with partner companies on sales, pricing, part numbers and industry policies

Purchasing

  1. Make recommendations on inventory levels
  2. Work with staff to decide proper purchase level
  3. Staff meetings to approve purchase orders

Business Policies

  • Responsible for allocating and implementing resources, enforcing policies, and managing employees
  • Analyze and produce organization's reports for accurate operations, budgets, business plans and employees
  • Work with bookkeeping to troubleshoot any accounting issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related skills and experience
  • Previous experience in ????
  • 5-7 years experience in ?????
  • Proficient in MS Office to provide business reports and other responsibilites
  • Excellent time-management skills for completing multiple tasks at the same time to ensure sales, purchasing and service goals are met
