This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the planning, implementation, and management of a new Product Stewardship & Compliance program and lead the regulatory toxicology function in a supportive environment. The Manager, Product Stewardship & Compliance Toxicology, provides regulatory toxicology expertise for hazard assessments, toxicological endpoint classification of all chemical substances in a product life cycle as final product and exposure assessments. The Toxicology Manager provides consultation for innovation projects and will be a key member of the Saint-Gobain North America (SGNA) Product Stewardship & Compliance Team and may oversee other personnel. Additionally, the Toxicology Manager provides regulatory expertise in EPA TSCA sections 5, 8(c), and 8(e) compliance processes as well as FDA and OSHA regulations.
This position will interact with manufacturing sites, R&D, EHS&S and multiple businesses throughout North America and globally.

Saint-Gobain North America Headquarters in Malvern, PA with remote work options.
**Some of the essential functions are:**
Conduct Tier 1 Hazard Assessments for all substances in the product life cycle.
Determine toxicological endpoint hazard classifications for raw materials and final products.
Prepare and manage toxicological documentation in support of product safety, regulatory requirements, and product stewardship reviews.
Conduct exposure assessment modelling.
Recommend toxicological testing for new product development programs based on regulatory requirements, internal Product Stewardship requirements, and business needs.
Provide regulatory toxicology expertise for EPA TSCA sections 5, 8(c), and 8(e)compliance processes, as well as FDA, OHSA, state, local and international regulations
Qualify and oversee toxicological testing at external laboratories.
Represent Saint-Gobain at regulatory agencies and industry associations to address technical questions and issues related to toxicology, hazard assessment, and regulatory compliance using sound scientific principles.
Lead toxicology and ecotoxicology due diligence for acquisitions.
Utilize toxicology knowledge and expertise to support development of safe and sustainable processes and products and end-of-life management to meet Saint-Gobain's product stewardship and sustainability goals.
Provide training on fundamentals of risk, hazard, and exposure assessments.
Support Toxicology and Ecotoxicology needs of manufacturing sites.
Network with other Saint-Gobain regions and Corporate to promote toxicology best practices and opportunities for improvement.
**Required Qualifications**
M.S. with a minimum of five years of experience in industry or government.
Ph.D. with a minimum of two years of experience in industry or government.
Toxicology certification (e.g. DABT, ERT, etc.) preferred.
Excellent leadership, influence, teamwork, project management, and written and oral communication skills.
Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
