CloudTrucks is looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our People Ops team. Through this critical role, this person will own all of our HR processes surrounding performance management, compliance, and benefits. You would be reporting into our Sr. Human Resources Manager, while working cross-functionally with several teams such as Internal Operations & Finance.
This is an in-office role in our Atlanta office.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding and offboarding:


Facilitate HR onboarding and offboarding sessions, complete I-9 and E-verify for each new hire, manage background checks, and conduct exit interviews, among other duties.


Benefits Administration :
Serve as the first point of contact for employees with inquiries related to benefit changes for enrollments (new hires & QLEs), retirement, and benefits claims

Implement and facilitate a wellness program for the remainder of 2024

Assist with managing COBRA between Gusto, Sequoia, BASIC Pacific, and the accounts payable team

Stay up to date on compliance action items (i.e. Non-discrimination testing, SPD WRAP, Filing 5500, etc.)

Benefit Billing Audits

Leave management:
Assist in managing multi-state leaves of absence in collaboration with our payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payment.

Compliance:
Oversee annual and ongoing HR compliance activities, such as distributing required notices from federal, state, and local governments. Own reporting requirements for EEO-1, Healthy SF, and other applicable regulations.


Assist in managing the LMS site and process, ensuring timely facilitation of compliance training such as HIPAA and anti-harassment training on a quarterly basis.


Recordkeeping:


Oversee the personnel file management system, including the creation and filing of items such as PANS, sales comp plans, and new hire paperwork.

Also responsible for HRIS management.


Stay up to date on local, state, and federal compliance laws to provide guidance on internal HR policies and best practices to all levels of leadership.

Collaborate with supporting teams (such as Internal Operations and Finance) to achieve shared goals and priorities.

Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, counseling, and resolution.

Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

IT & Office Management:
Point of contact for IT for the ATL Office to partner on collecting and programming devices for new hires and retrieving


Coordinate and execute the offboarding process for departing employees, managing the return of company property, including laptops, mobile devices, access badges, keys, and any other equipment or materials.

Serve as an extension of the Internal Operations Manager in assisting with maintaining the office and event planning

Requirements:
5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist

Deep knowledge of core HR disciplines, including HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits, & Laws

Comfortable managing through ambiguity with strong bias for action, while being able to handle confidential information with discretion

Proven experience of managing multiple projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work to tight timelines

Ability to build & maintain relationships across all levels of the organization, through high interpersonal & communication skills

Preferred Experience:
Experience at a high growth tech company

HR Certification - PHR, SPHR
