Marketing Communication Specialist

Job Summary

Develop, create, and modify marketing campaigns and collateral including print, web, social media, and email advertising. Utilize data analysis, market research, customer feedback and web analytics to improve customer experience. Assist with trade shows, special events, and special projects for marketing campaigns as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and/or assist with advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate collateral updates including price books, catalogs, brochures, promotional items, and product samples
  • Plan campaigns and coordinate with Graphics Design team
  • Write copy for use in literature, mailings, web site, and training
  • Coordinate with marketing vendors including processing quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Monitor advertising programs and communicate program options designed to promote products
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan improvements
  • Promote continuous improvement of products, services, and procedures
  • Use sales data, survey results, email data, and web analytics to make decisions and support product and service improvements
  • Track ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Keep informed of changes which might affect product sales
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and customer satisfaction.
  • Plans own work within limits assigned

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience

  • Four-year Marketing or Business degree or commensurate with experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing or related field preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail in brand management
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills (including documentation)
  • Ability to multitask in fast and ever-changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish task
  • Comprehensive understanding of Adobe products preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Experience in project management and follow through preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of basic MS office software programs preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple browsers and operating systems (Desktop and Mobile)
