Senior Content Strategist

will build, optimize and manage integrated multichannel member communication strategies using digital and traditional marketing tools.


What will you focus on in this role? Acquiring new members across the book of business, retain them as members and encourage engagement through digital channels (My Vera, Castlight).

We want to get our members to TAKE THE NEXT BEST ACTION – whether that is taking the first step in coming into a provider, returning for a follow up visit, engaging with a program through the app, or taking advantage of wrap-around support services.

The

Senior Content Strategist


has extensive experience coordinating efforts with internal and external stakeholders, leading creative agency partners, developing and executing data-driven marketing and outreach plans, analyzing health data to develop target audiences, and deciphering marketing results to improve and refine communications.


Position Qualifications/Essential Functions:


Develop outcomes-based marketing segment strategies based on risk scores, social determinants of health, health plan status, and demographics to motivate members to take meaningful action.

Set and achieve member growth and retention targets while managing against a marketing budget.

Develop and implement an engaging, data-driven multi-channel engagement plan, which may include app-based communications, emails, direct mail, webinars, outreach calls, clinical team coordination, etc.

Work collaboratively across the organization with clinical operations, sales, finance, analytics, clinical quality, and customer experience to successfully implement the cross-departmental engagement program.

Partner effectively with designers to produce collateral and shepherd the creative process from end-to-end, including creative brief development, review, production, and results analysis.

Measure effectiveness of marketing activities; leverage performance data to inform future strategy and campaigns; report success to clients and internal stakeholders.

Able to operate as subject matter expert with internal stakeholders and organizational leadership, effectively outlining strategy and progress against goal.

Capable of identifying opportunities to improve process and team effectiveness.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:


Knowledge of healthcare processes, healthcare finance, value-based care, clinical risk cohorts, patient experience, behavior change, patient engagement, digital engagement, and provider engagement.

Passionate about transforming healthcare and the member experience; sees apree health as a viable expression of who they are and what they love to do.

Knowledge of direct-response marketing, engagement marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Canva, print), market awareness, and / or healthcare marketing.

Ability to manage multiple projects seamlessly and shift priorities quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing and presentation skills.
Comfortable with ambiguity – self contained, motivated and keen to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
Excellent change management and people management skills.
Experience working in lead and support roles.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in communications/marketing or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience managing clients and marketing communications plans and strategies

Compensation:
$85k-$120k/annual salary & bonus eligible (national average, premium markets may vary)
