About the Job: Join our team as a Military Operations Analyst 3 and support the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes and provides recommendations on issues related to military command control and communications, electronic warfare, weapon systems, contingency operations, Military Tactics Techniques and Procedures (MTTP), force planning, and training exercises.
- Collaborates with user community representatives throughout all development phases regarding requirements definition, clarification, prioritization, and alternatives.
- Evaluates the conduct and outcomes of operational user training, military maneuvers or simulated wartime operations to maintain force capabilities.
- Applies new doctrine and tactics to system design and development, derived from Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities.
- Assesses the implications of programmatic and technical options on user requirements and doctrine.
- Creates reports and briefs summarizing support requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs and systems.
- 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in a related field; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
