Job Description

Title: Medical Receptionist

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Chandler, AZ 85226

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors warmly.
  • Manage incoming calls efficiently, take detailed notes, and provide necessary information.
  • Accurately schedule appointments for healthcare providers.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations for referrals and maintain relevant records.
  • Handle patient payments and prepare daily financial reports.
  • Organize patient appointments and assist in maintaining records.
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.
  • Ensure proper handling of incoming documents and faxes.
  • Maintain and update medical records as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist.
  • Proficiency in insurance verification and authorizations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and practice management software.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including Saturdays.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
