We are looking for a skilled painter with a keen eye for detail to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting various surfaces using different techniques and tools. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of color theory, be able to follow instructions precisely, and complete projects within deadlines.

Essential Functions:

• Good knowledge of scenic painting techniques and color mixing
• Proficiency in marbling, ragging, wood graining, and texturing
• Experience in painting various materials such as wood, aluminum, steel, and plastics
• Selecting the appropriate paints and tools for each project
• Preparing surfaces before painting
• Applying paints, varnishes, and sealants accurately
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Keeping inventory of supplies and ensuring workplace safety
• Collaborating with other team members
• Maintaining cleanliness in the workspace
• Other duties as required

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in custom finish work and scenic painting
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Valid driver's license
