The Integrated Sales Planner is part of a team of enthusiastic media professionals who connect various divisions at NBCU Local.

This role will partner with Business Development Directors, Holding Company Account Managers, NBC National Partners, and other internal teams responsible for selling all linear, digital, social, and OOH products with the goal to build strategic and successful media campaigns and sponsorships that span all products in the NBCUniversal portfolio.

As an Integrated Sales Planner, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with developing and executing high-level RFPs marketing/cross platform media proposals across the NBCU portfolio (containing NBC & TLMD owned stations and affiliates, Regional Sports Networks, National Diginet Cable, targeted digital assets, OTT, Peacock, and social platforms).
  • Lead in the creation of strategic proposals for incoming new business opportunities by creating multimarket crossplatform media plans and sponsorships based on cost, available inventory, and approved products to meet advertiser and category objectives
  • Work with editorial and sales marketing teams to develop media plans with maximum impact and feasibility
  • Help develop and track strategic social campaigns across the NBCU Local portfolio, including local and tentpole sports opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with direct client partners during presale and postsale by communicating campaign deliveries and post buy analysis
  • Liaison with research, strategy, production, AdOps, editorial, and finance teams
  • Use internal research and external media trends to become a strategist for sales team and clients
  • Complete additional projects as directed by VP of Strategic Planning & Marketing and Director of Strategic Planning including project management, custom content creation, socialfirst campaigns, and tentpole event activation (including Olympics, Super Bowl, World Cup, NFL, Thanksgiving Parade, Award Shows, etc).
  • Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials

Qualifications

  • Minimum 13 years experience in media planning, buying, or sales with knowledge of broadcast, digital, social and out of home preferred
  • Must be expert in excel and proficient in PowerPoint
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, Donovan, Sales Force, Op1, Freewheel and media research tools, broadcast and/or digital sales systems
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional communication, project management and presentation skills
  • Clear, concise, objective and professional written and verbal communicator
  • Superior organizational skills must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and handle projects independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be willing to work in New York City area
