Calian CRO is seeking a Senior Biostatistician for an exciting opportunity to work within our dynamic team. You will mainly be responsible to execute the implementation of modern and innovative clinical trial designs, statistical models, analyses, and data exploration. You collaborate with Data Management & Clinical Operations department to deliver statistical support for Calian Health, and ensure a high quality of statistical reporting deliverables.

Accountabilities

Under the direction of the VP of Calian CRO, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Execute statistical activities and provide support on statistical solutions for Calian Health Divisions.
  • Implement protocol development in alignment with the development plan,
  • Provide input on statistical scientific and operational aspects of the planning, design and reporting of trials/experiments, and production and delivery of statistical deliverables and exploratory analyses.
  • Initiate, drive and implement novel methods and innovative trial designs in alignment with your lead.
  • Lead statistical/numerical/analytic research by providing advice and solutions on computational aspects of the problem.
  • Guide the trial statistician to ensure that documents, specifications, programs/macros are consistent and comply with company standards.
  • Oversee Biostatistics resources and deliverables for assigned trials.

Qualifications

  • Hold a College or a University degree in Sciences.
  • Hold at least 2 years of experience in Clinical Research.
  • Knowledge of ADaM, SDTM and SAS programming.
  • Knowledge of CRF Design, CSR Support and Data analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in Sample Size Calculations and Protocol Design.
  • Team player with initiative to learn and handle multiple assignments independently.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to act as a liaison with vendors and other functional team members to meet project goals.
  • Above average problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to promote effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to maintain composure and function effectively under pressure.
  • Strives to streamline and improve processes supporting clinical operations and the business.
  • Ability to organize, create and present study data to support metrics and business activities.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications, and electronic spreadsheets is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). French is an asset.
