Position Overview/Responsibilities:
We are hiring a _
machine operator in our manufacturing facility_. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to work with a team.

Daily responsibilities include _
saw cutting, punching, drilling, grinding, robotic welder operation, and inspection of parts._ Operators are expected to maintain a safe work environment, verify the quality of parts produced, and provide labor reports daily.

Experienced machine operators and On-the-job training positions are available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills Required:

  • Ability to Read Drawings
  • Use measuring tools such as a caliper, square, and tape measure
  • Machine Saw setup and operation
  • Bridgeport/Knee mill/Drill press setup and operation
  • Ironworker/Multicyl Punch and Die setup
  • Grinding and sanding
  • Robotic Welding Equipment Operation

Preferred:

  • Welding certificate completion
  • Aluminum welding experience
  • 2 years of experience operating a welding robot.
  • Experience with fixtures implementation and design
  • Advanced understanding of aluminum fabrication (i.e. welding, chemical and mechanical fastening), plastics and metal machining

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 35 years of experience in fabrication

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
