Job SummaryThis position is responsible for providing QA support and leadership to operations leadership, ensuring the implementation and compliance of Compass Group's Quality Assurance Standards and local/county jurisdiction public health standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Regularly performs audits in all assigned operationsSupports third party safety audits, interprets and supports corrective action for noncomplianceApplies knowledge of the facilities process flow to integrate procedures within the flowResponds to customer quality and safety concernsMonitors pertinent regulatory, industry, academia, private sector, and media postings and alert/news feeds for emerging concerns that require investigation, action, follow-up, and/or communicationDevelops and distributes educational materials (written, electronic, visual, etc.) on safety and sanitation topicsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:B.S.

degree in environmental health, food technology, food science, food safety, or related degree1-3 years' experience in auditing or regulatory inspectionsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), and data management systemsKnowledge of safety and sanitation regulations governing our operationsStrong data management, reporting, and technical writing skills.
