SUMMARY

The HR & Recruiting Coordinator will be involved in a wide spectrum of HR-related activities, including the coordination of full cycle recruiting and benefits administration. The coordinator will also team up with others on value-added project work. Initially the coordinator will focus on tactical recruitment and benefits activities. As we transform to more automation processes, our intention is that the coordinator will take on additional responsibilities, including more strategic ones.

JOB DUTIES

  • Support the delivery of a quality full cycle recruitment service and contribute to the recruitment strategy and objectives
  • Support the hiring managers with the interview and hiring process as needed from initial job requisition posting through to offer acceptance
  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies and hiring managers for temp worker hiring
  • Manages candidate activity, communication in Application Tracking System
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate reporting
  • Schedule and coordinate phone, in-person, and video interviews for candidates
  • Provide prompt support (e.g. last-minute cancellations, rescheduling) for interviews, including resolution of on-site logistical issues
  • Monitor internal applicant data and status updates in Applicant Tracking System
  • Responds to all candidate activity within a 24-hour time frame
  • Submit expenses reimbursement for candidate travel expenses
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers.
  • Support annual open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualified life events/benefit changes, and assist in the resolution of insurance claims and discrepancies.
  • Support monthly premium reconciliation process.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate talent selections with hiring managers and staffing agencies.
  • Promote and support Employee Wellness programs.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative duties, and perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in Recruiting, Benefits, or HR administration is preferred
  • Previous experience with a HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, or ADP Workforce Now/Comprehensive Services is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Energetic, positive attitude, flexible, and highly organized
  • Strong interest in a career in Human Resources
  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese is a plus
