Our company is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

This role consists of ensuring our equipment is up and running safely and smoothly. This means performing regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet in the branch location. You'll also troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains. You may also occasionally deliver equipment or parts to other technicians.

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Hydraulic - Advanced
  • Aerial Equipment Repair - Advanced
  • Troubleshooting - Mechanical - Advanced
  • Preventative Maintenance (Mechanical) - Advanced
  • Heavy Equipment Repair - Advanced

Preferred Qualities/Experience:

  • It helps to have five to seven years as a technician under your belt, preferably with a construction equipment background.
  • Must have the tools you need to do the job; your hands will only get your so far.
  • High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
  • Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
  • Be willing and ready to learn: this position comes with growth opportunities, if you want them

Required Behaviors:

  • Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • DOT Medical Card
