Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to organize and manage key client projects. As our project manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline, including developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. You will report directly to the President and collaborate closely with the in-field Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Project Planning and Development:

· Develop detailed project scopes, objectives, and schedules, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.

Resource and Vendor Management:

· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

· Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.

· Ensure resource availability and allocation.

· Manage logistical aspects of materials and manpower, ensuring timely delivery and proper utilization.

Execution and Monitoring:

· Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track progress.

· Utilize technology for remote monitoring and reporting, leveraging tools like Smartsheet.

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

· Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality deliverables.

· Provide regular project progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.

· Interface with local authorities and manage all aspects of building permits and inspections.

· Oversee complete project execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Financial Management:

· Verify and manage the cost of all project expenditures.

· Provide project and financial status reports to leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

· Ensure all payout requirements are met.

Compliance and Documentation:

· Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Communication and Reporting:

· Manage the prioritization of tasks and processes to ensure that goals are achieved within the given timeframe.

· Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and the executive leadership team, enhancing cross-functional collaboration and project transparency.

· Report and escalate issues to management as needed.

· Interface regularly with the Superintendent to obtain updates and receipts for all project expenses.

Additional Duties:

· Perform other related duties as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs.

Preferred Experience

· Relevant educational background, preferably in the fields of Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.

· Proficient with project management software, preferably SmartSheet.

· PMP certification is a plus.
