Maron Marvel is searching for a director of marketing & business development.

We are seeking a legal marketing professional with year over seven to 10 years' experience in marketing litigation and insurance defense practices.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide counsel on business development and marketing strategies and initiatives to firm management, core division leaders, and attorneys.

Identify business development opportunities for the firm's core legal divisions and attorneys.

Serve as steward of the firm's brand, firm's reputation, and position.

Manage the firm's online presence, through management of website and other digital marketing channels.

Create and oversee marketing budget.

Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and communications.

Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brand messaging, visuals, and materials.

Ideate event ideas, evaluate sponsorships, and manage events from start to finish.

Implement strategies such as online press releases, blog posts, whitepapers, and digital renderings of speech presentations.

Coordinate and advise on developing pitches, responses to RFPs and requests for information from clients.

Collaborate with other admin teams to execute business development-related initiatives and activities including pitches, responses to proposals, directory submissions.

Generate reports to track growth, ROI on marketing events, and other KPIs.

Track results of the marketing and business efforts.

Conduct and analyze client, competitor, prospect, industry and other marketing research.

Support cross-selling efforts among practice groups and teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.


Minimum of 7 years business development marketing role, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to oversee projects.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, including branding, market research, digital marketing, and campaign management.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decision-making.

Experience working in the legal industry is a must and litigation and insurance defense is a plus.
