Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch orders to drivers efficiently
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Enter data accurately into the system for tracking and recordkeeping
- Monitor shipments and provide updates to stakeholders
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Utilize systems such as SyteLine and AS400 for dispatching activities
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with stakeholders
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while optimizing routes
- Support supply chain operations by coordinating logistics effectively
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and using dispatch software/systems
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and shipping procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and internal teams
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively
