OVERVIEW:


The Business Continuity Manager will oversee broad contingency planning and business continuity initiatives across the organization, ensuring adherence to BCM Policies and standards, and providing comprehensive reports for management at all levels.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Offer specialized guidance and assistance to management and various business units in preparing for business disruptions
  • Conduct business impact and risk analyses in alignment with established continuity risk management protocols
  • Conduct workshops with departmental leaders and stakeholders to map critical business functions accurately, along with developing recovery strategies
  • Manage the regular validation and testing of documented continuity plans
  • Assess the probability and impact of potential disruptions for third parties
  • Identify weaknesses in exercises, tests, and training that surpass the entity's risk tolerance, and raise awareness within the business lines and the ERM process
  • Establish enterprise-wide training requirements to educate stakeholders on resilience, continuity goals, corporate objectives, policies, and individual roles
  • Support front line units and IT in developing their continuity plans aligned with the overall strategy
  • Act as the application administrator for the continuity application tool
  • Deliver effective continuity strategies to sustain critical business functions during and post disasters
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS &

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of eight years of continuity experience
  • At least five years in a financial services risk management role
  • Proficiency in continuity planning, emergency/incident planning, and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with Crisis Management concepts and techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in developing procedural documents

The estimated salary range for this role is $89,400 to $111,700 annually. The actual salary may vary based on qualifications and operational requirements.
