Description:


The role of Tax Associate at this renowned PE/VC Fund offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with various departments within the Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Associate/Manager, the Tax Associate will play a vital role in enhancing tax reporting practices for the firm.

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and reviewing tax workpapers, schedule K-1s/K-3s, tax estimates, and filings for funds, investment companies, and GP entities
  • Collaborating with multiple tax providers to ensure timely delivery of tax documents to LPs and GPs
  • Addressing federal, state, and local tax notices, preparing tax payments, and handling necessary tax forms
  • Compiling and updating ASC-740 memos annually
  • Managing FATCA and CRS filings for compliance in various jurisdictions
  • Handling tax inquiries from LPs and GPs
  • Contributing to various ad hoc projects

Requirements for ideal candidates:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA and/or Master's degree preferred)
  • 4 years of experience in tax compliance within private equity/venture capital/private credit funds
  • Prior tax experience in a public accounting firm would be advantageous
