Job Description:

  • Greet residents, visitors, and team members courteously
  • Respect dignity, confidentiality standards, and promote resident rights
  • Serve delicious meals and ensure resident satisfaction
  • Record guest meals and report to Business Office Director
  • Recognize department needs and report concerns to Culinary Services Director
  • Assist in preparations for special meals and parties
  • Ensure proper food and supplies storage
  • Assist with restaurant and server areas operations and cleaning
  • Comply with cleaning duties and maintain restaurant readiness
  • Adhere to community infection control policies
  • Participate in training and emergency preparedness
  • Perform other assigned duties related to culinary services

Specific Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated adherence to food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Customer service and personal service proficiency
  • Team dynamic awareness, inventory management, safety, and cleanliness
  • Effective communicator and listener with strong written and verbal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures, equipment sanitation, and storage
  • Passion for working with older adults and their families

Working Conditions:

The role entails various physical demands ranging from standing to manual dexterity and vision acuity. The Server may be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
