Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their suitability for procedures.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients, including the process and post-procedure expectations.
  • Prepare equipment, set technical parameters, and gather necessary supplies for procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols.
  • Obtain detailed patient history for accurate image interpretation.
  • Perform quality assessments of images and identify equipment issues.
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.

Required Licensure and Certifications

BLS certification required upon hiring. ARRT Board Certified in Radiology (RTR).

Hold a valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license.

ARRT Board Certification in CT within 2 years of hire.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training

Proficient in venipuncture procedures. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
