The CT Technologist is in charge of all CT exams and operates the computed tomography equipment while following safety protocols. INTEGRIS Health values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
- Hold current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Obtain Computed Tomography certification within 12 months of hire
- Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Effective communication skills in English (Verbal/Written)
Key responsibilities of the CT Technologist:
- Ensure patient safety during exams and transfer procedures
- Develop film using automatic processing techniques
- Administer radiographic contrast as necessary
- Assist in equipment calibration and quality control
- Consult radiologists on contrast media administration
- Prepare IV setup for CT Scan
- Report to the CT Lead Technologist or Radiology Manager
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain physical demands
- Handle exposure to various elements during work
- Provide care regardless of individual status
