Job Title: Facility Support Engineer Electrical

Location: Leesburg, VA 20175

Duration: 6 months from start, can be extended up to the clients discretion.

Hours: 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks, and overnight shifts

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Support electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller one.

Experience with building management systems (EPMS)

Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source. Critical Load is still supplied through one source (N).

PDU shutdown for power meter replacement.

Power Interruption Testing (PIT)

Master controller shutdown or replacement.

Previous datacenter experience a plus

Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code

Preferred: Qualified Electrical Worker

Requisites:

Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification

Required: Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.

Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Required: 5+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields (eg., automotive, electrical, controls, data center)

Required: Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks, and overnight shifts

Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
