Investigator I

Michigan City, Indiana, United States The Judge Group Full time
Overview

The District Attorney's Office is looking for a Colorado POST-certified officer to join its Investigator Team.

What separates this position from other law enforcement positions is that we have an 8 am - 5 pm work schedule, with weekends and holidays off (paid holidays); we offer specialized assignments with training opportunities; and we provide a fulfilling and respected role as a peace officer with the ability to maintain connections to multiple law enforcement agencies and keep an active POST certification.

A person in this position conducts investigations on various matters at the direction of the District Attorney and provides staff assistance. Work is usually supervised while in progress and fits a structured and established pattern. Under the flexible staffing concept, positions assigned to the Investigator I class may reasonably expect to progress to the II level with training, experience, and satisfactory job performance.

It is REQUIRED that candidates upload a Resume and cover letter addressed to Scott Rogers, Chief Investigator, District Attorney's Office, and a copy of their current Colorado POST certificate.
