Doppelmayr USA, the global leader in ropeway transportation and ski lift manufacturing, is currently seeking a Payroll Accountant to be part of our team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Facilitate audits and provide documentation.
  • Reconcile payroll entries and benefits deductions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to supervisor.
  • Administer employee reimbursement and expense reporting.
  • Manage payroll processing issues and interpret new legislation.
  • Conduct audits of payroll accounts and assist with policy reviews.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll practices.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Concur Expense reporting.
  • Ability to work with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in various software and ERP systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
  • Prior experience as a payroll specialist.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Access and navigate the organization's facilities.
