The Billing Supervisor not only manages a team but is also a working supervisor, involved in the day-to-day activities of billing. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office. This position can be located at any of the following offices: Norcross, GA, Butler, PA or Bolingbrook, IL

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervising all billing personnel, 3-5 employees
  • Aligning resources among team to complete timely billing practices.
  • Manages various types of billing including stock billing, direct billing, consignment material billing and returned merchandise.
  • Billing load balancing among team and participating in certain billings where applicable.
  • Providing cross-training and arranging backups for each type of billing.
  • Daily reporting of billing metrics, sales forecasts, and backlog orders
  • Participate in projects that target business simplification, emphasizing billing and inventory timing with respect to billing.
  • Billing customers who have proprietary portals and direct billing arrangements
  • Handling of the increases in number of customers and reactivation of lost customers and resources
  • Revenue recognition standard practices, assess control weaknesses and develop remediation plans.
  • Training and education of billing best practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree (Accounting, finance, business degree preferred or relevant experience)
  • 3+ years of various leadership experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal partners.
  • Must have excellent data entry skills and computer knowledge that include familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.
  • Excellent math, verbal and written communication
  • Up to 20% travel for meetings and physical inventories
