The Sr.

Director of Brand Campaign & Communication Strategy is a critical part of the Global Brand Campaigns team leading a team of 5 based in the US.

We are looking for a strategic and groundbreaking leader to drive audience recall of "who Salesforce is" and "what Salesforce does" with senior B2B business decision-makers.

This role will lead the team responsible for the global strategy of our brand campaigns and support the execution within AMER.

The successful candidate is a strategic thinker capable of setting a vision and leading a cross-functional team to success with deep experience in brand building, media, and communications planning.

This role requires a strategic partnership with research, creative, and channel teams to design best-in-class channel and comms strategy for our audience.

Role

  • Ability to shift quickly and lead others with focus in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Ability to communicate and partner with Senior Leadership to set goals and strategic approaches.
Global Responsibilities

  • Lead the global communications strategy to reach business metrics with clear objectives across paid, owned, and earned tactics aligned to best reach our audience through data-driven insights.
  • Uncover insights through research to understand market trends, audience preferences, and the competitive landscape.
  • Partner on defining our global brand strategy - how do we differentiate ourselves and what does elite brand marketing look like.
  • Partner with Portfolio Marketing, Creative Strategy, Creative, Content, Social, Digital, PR teams to coordinate a comprehensive go-to-market approach that can be scaled globally.
  • Drive documentation of methodologies, research, strategic, and enablement materials that help communicate the intent and value of the team's work.
US Only Responsibilities

  • Lead the US campaigns team to deliver a campaign strategy that drives awareness and familiarity of the Salesforce brand.
  • Responsible for running the US media and production campaigns budget and negotiating with partners to ensure cost-effectiveness of all spend.
  • Develop and coach your team to retain top-performing talent through mentorship and professional development.
  • Help drive successful campaigns that turn into pipeline for the business by connecting the brand campaigns to the demand performance engine.
Experience

  • 10+ years of leading and running enterprise teams with global experience.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading and building integrated, global, multi-channel 'Brand' marketing campaigns for B2B brands.
  • 7+ years of brand and media communications strategy with validated experience in media buying and planning.
  • 5+ years in enterprise brand strategy.
  • Success in high-growth environments: experience creating, executing, and leading teams in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to disseminate information across the organization including executive level communication skills.
  • Enjoys solving complex business problems and being the first to chart a new path.
  • Takes a customer-first approach to building campaign journeys and experiences.
  • Hungry to make an impact and get results.
