With over 30 years in business & 8 regional distribution facilities, ESI is a premier supplier of Edgebanding, Adhesives, Quartz, Porcelain, Solid Surface, and Sinks.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answer Phone calls
  • Take and enter customer order; Customer orders approx. 725 monthly/Average 60-95.
  • Quote & Check inventory for customer inquiries.
  • Answer phones in a timely manner, by 2nd ring.
  • Help other branches: Phone calls, taking orders and answering general voicemail.
  • Enter credits/RMAs.
  • Accuracy – Decrease Credit Memo's.
  • Work with Warehouse: Stock checks, un-stage/cancel orders and will call.
  • Product Knowledge – Make list, training follow up with National Sales Managers.
  • Follow up on Quotes: Keep copies of quotes turned into SO.
  • Upsell: Offer more qty for price break, does customer need glue or anything else
  • Open credit Memo report, weekly follow up.
  • Purchasing: Communication when we run out of items, or inquiry on new items

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
