Job Summary: LG Chem America, Inc. (LGCAI) is actively searching for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our growing Atlanta, Georgia office and carry out Procurement activities individually and as part of a broader team both here in the United States and abroad, including in Korea.
Essential Functions What Youll Be Doing
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for performing all procurement related planning tasks assigned to them by their supervisor from time to time. System Proficient
- overall procurement progress, payment transaction and manage SAP/ARIBA data related to procurement.
- SAP/ARIBA system for Procurement process, Functional Location Management, storeroom functions, and maintenance planning functions.
Minimum Qualifications/What We Need to See
Education. Bachelors degree preferred in Business Administration, or Engineering field
Skills and Expertise.
- 5+years of professional work experience related with Procurement for a production facility
- Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with Incoterms (International Commercial Terms)
- Capable of working independently
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
- Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, control system, scale software, inventory management software.
- of relevant health and safety regulations.
- possess good reading, writing and math skills.
