As a Business Continuity Coordinator, you will play a critical role in identifying and assessing potential disruptions, ensuring that ADM's critical business functions are safeguarded against various risks. This role involves coordinating the business impact analysis process, developing continuity plans, and working closely with regional teams and external partners to enhance our crisis management and business continuity capabilities. You will use your problem-solving skills and attention to detail to support projects, lead crisis simulations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our global business continuity program. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and updating business continuity plans and strategies.
  • Support and manage projects and initiatives that impact business operations.
  • Act as a liaison between regional teams and the Office of Business Continuity.
  • Provide support to regional teams during peak workloads or crises.
  • Ensure communication protocols and crisis response procedures are well-defined and understood throughout the regions.
  • Collaborate with crisis management teams to develop and maintain crisis management plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional crisis management efforts, coordinating with local response teams.
  • Lead and participate in tabletop exercises, drills, and simulations to test business continuity and plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including local authorities, emergency services, and third-party vendors, to enhance crisis response capabilities.
  • Assist in crisis response efforts by monitoring and assessing regional incidents.
  • Analyze post-crisis data and feedback to refine crisis management strategies and business continuity plans.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in business continuity and crisis management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in business continuity, crisis management, or a related field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business continuity software and tools.
  • Certification in business continuity planning (e.g., CBCP, MBCI) is preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
