POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintainingthe integrity of the facility including major mechanical systems, fire &life-safety equipment, grounds, parking, lighting systems, plumbing,kitchen equipment, electrical, controls and any other systems andequipment comprising the physical structure and appurtenantinfrastructure.

Duties and responsibilities include being a role modelof our core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.

To ensure that thehighest standards of cleanliness, safety, aesthetics and guestsatisfaction are maintained; ensure compliance with alltraining/licensure requirements of staff; and able to assist with thegeneral upkeep of the facilities.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The followingstatements are intended as general illustrations of the work in thisclass and are not all inclusive. 1. Be a motivated individual withresources to accomplish established objectives. 2. Execute and influencequality guest service and profitability. 3. Follow department standards,guidelines and objectives to maintain efficient operations of the KansasCrossing Facility. 4. Assist in managing utility expenses throughoperational efficiencies. 5. Execute maintenance programs and maintainservice records as required. 6. Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctionsin mechanical or electrical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, kitchen, andother equipment throughout the property. 7. Maintains the buildingexterior and curb appeal for snow removal, lawn care, painting, andother actions as directed. 8.

Executes all routine maintenance andoperation of physical structure of the casino, all mechanical,electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment whichcontributes to the safe and effective operation of the facility.

9.Ensures work processes are OSHA and Hazcom compliant to includecomplying with all departmental MSDS sheets and procedures. 10.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, providing clearcommunication to the Chief Engineer on the details of work performed.11. Answer radio or other communications regarding complaints/concernsand take appropriate action from all KCC departments. 12. Workefficiently and guarantee maximum productivity and guest satisfactionwith a minimal supervision performing assigned task. 13. Attend allrequired meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information. 14.Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, dcor, etc., which requirescontinuous visual inspection of public areas. Make repairs as needed oras directed by the Director of Security & Facilities or the ChiefEngineer. 15.

Maintain and Operate all equipment safely and at therecommendation of all Standard operating practices set forth by theequipment manufacturer or the Facility Standard Operating Procedures.16.

Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind and warm manner that creates asense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous and responsivemanner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values ofFun, Family and Community.

17. Participate on property Safety Committeeas assigned. 18. Performs other duties as may be assigned by departmentand/or company management.

WORKING CONDITIONS Must have ability to:
Accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematicalfunctions applicable to business needs. Define problems, collect data,establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a variety oftechnical and mathematical formulas. Interpret and follow through on avariety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduleform. Be flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekendhours and overtime as business needs dictate. Be physically mobile withreasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry andlift up to 50 lbs., and t e ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist,stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties invarying work areas such as confined spaces
