Amazon Pinpoint is recruiting a Software Development Engineer who will be responsible for being the technical leader responsible for helping drive messaging products including email and text messages.

As the Software Development Engineer, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy cloud software framework for Amazon Pinpoint channels
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation, and support of (mainly Java-based) software

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
