Job Description:

As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other materials using appropriate welding techniques. Your tasks will include setting up and operating welding equipment, ensuring welds meet standards, securing parts according to specifications, and conducting tests to evaluate quality.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate welding machine based on work orders, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Ensure welds meet required standards.
  • Secure parts using measuring tools and tack-weld or weld components.
  • Remove rough spots from workpieces.
  • Ignite torch and adjust equipment settings.
  • Clean parts before welding.
  • Perform inspections using inspection gages.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Determine welding methods based on knowledge of metallurgy and geometry.
  • Conduct product tests and inspections.
  • Perform equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety regulations.


Requirements:

Skills/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational School.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and background checks.
