This role would not need to report to the corporate office.

Job Responsibilities:


Research and assess facility operations for regulatory applicabilityComplete NPDES water permit applications (industrial discharge & stormwater runoff)Develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) & other spill plans required by NPDES permitsPrepare compliance reports and documentationAssist with hazardous waste characterizations, manifesting, training, & onsite waste managementBuild expertise in specific environmental compliance disciplinesProvide on-site visits to clients for inspections, compliance support, and regulatory trainingSupport environmental departments including air quality, SPCC development, and EPCRA reportingCollaborate with other U.S.

Compliance practitioners to execute environmental deadlines and projectsPosition Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related science disciplineMinimum of two years' work experience with an industrial, consulting, or regulatory agency with the Ideal candidate having 3-5 years of experience in environmental complianceIdeal candidate will have two to four years of experience in NPDES permitting and/or RCRA compliancePreferred candidate will have or have the ability to obtain a QISP certificationMust be within 1 hour of an international airportKnowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory authorities and applicable environmental regulationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, DynamicsExcellent verbal and written communication, comfortable hosting presentations, and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills to support multiple activities on an ongoing basis by the given deadlineAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment with a diverse workloadStrong attention to detailFlexible and willing to support diverse projects as neededAbility to travel to client sites for routine visits regionally and/or nationally (approx. 20% of the time)Become part of our dynamic team and unlock opportunities to achieve your career aspirations while helping our clients care for their employees, protect our environment, and grow their businesses.
