  • The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Specialty Engineering Directorate at Raytheon is responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products, from engineering labs to production environments. This role focuses on software development, integration, testing, and maintenance for on-site factory support of test systems. Responsibilities include developing applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using specified software style, language, and integrated development environment.
Key responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting software and test equipment
  • Developing requirements for software products
  • Developing and integrating object-oriented software applications using C# and C++
  • Utilizing programming languages like C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic
  • Professional experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, computer hardware optimization, and development of software drivers
  • Experience with common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422
  • Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software
  • Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Agile software development
  • Prior experience with Software Configuration Management principles and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server
