JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
As a Fulfillment Coordinator II you will be responsible for daily coordination of orders management routed to the Fulfillment Center. This will include daily management of processing, routing, tracking, and maintaining orders in multiple ERP systems. This position will be a liaison between Sales, Operations and Fulfillment Partners - ensuring continuous communication and support throughout the entire order process, while adhering to standard operating procedures to fulfill each program. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for weekly report outs to Fulfillment Center leadership ensuring all actionable items are executed in line with customers' expectations. You must comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
- Owns ERP batch releases to fulfillment center floor.
- Assists in monitoring, analyzing and report out of KPI/VDM data and ability to communicate needs of the business to site leadership.
- Responsible for daily planning and assisting Fulfillment Supervisor in prioritizing of work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals for assigned team.
- Actively evaluates standard operations and procedures searching for areas of continuous improvement.
- Support the team in hitting KPIs by identifying and communicating work-shift needs to Fulfillment Supervisor(s) that will enable service level commitments
- Delegates tasks and removes obstacles and addresses or escalates issues.
- Provides departmental backup in the event in department absences
- Processes all necessary data for all shipments.
- Coordination of order issue resolution with cross functional teams.
- Maintains shipping schedules with required information for documentation purposes.
- Ensures all paperwork for shipments are completed properly within the procedure guidelines.
- Coordinates of shipments with internal and external customers.
- Maintain working knowledge of ERP Systems, Distribution Tools/Network, Shipping and Scheduling Tools
- Assist shift supervisor with assignment of dock doors for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Additional Responsibilities (if needed)
- Uses a RF scanner to enter records and record data.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Drives forklift (reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck, Sit Down) to Pick/Pack and transport items.
- Prepares parcels for shipping. Stage Pallets.
- Performs cycle counts.
- Loads and unloads vehicles.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 year work experience preferably in a production or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel & Word
- Minimum 1 years experience on Oracle or Other MRP System.
- To ensure success, utilizing various forms of communication not limited to phone, email, Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent Communication skills with internal contacts within function
- Detail oriented, quick learner, extremely dedicated, and punctual
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skill
- Customer Service Oriented.
- Ability to work self-guided with minimal supervision.
Language: English (Spanish/English) a plus
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position is done in a warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use fingers and hands, handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry product. Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter. This position may also a person to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours.
