Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of multiple complex IT projects. Leads and coordinates project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and project deliverables. Manages full project lifecycle from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, in compliance with established project management methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the scope of multiple medium to large cross functional projects.
  • Partners with multiple internal and external technology and business partners to align technology scope and business outcome. Ensures a change control process is followed for scope changes.
  • Partners with external vendors while ensuring that projects do not encounter interference from concurrent initiatives.
  • Leads project teams of matrixed internal and external resources of 20+.
  • Creates and maintains an integrated project schedule; seeks to understand and mitigate schedule risks.
  • Leads project teams to identify issues and risks. Manages risks and issues to resolution and seeks assistance when appropriate.
  • Manages multiple projects within a portfolio by prioritizing, determining resource allocation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Helps establish and enforce project management standards and processes within the project portfolio.
  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across multiple projects.
  • Develops and manages project budgets, capital, expense, SaaS expense $1-5+M. Manages project financials according to Company processes.
  • Manages projects with a moderate to high level of technical complexity that involve more advanced technologies or integrations.
  • Leads project team meetings, prepares and communicates steering, governance, and stakeholder materials, and facilitates team member communications and alignment.
  • Collects project data to confirm project status both internally and externally. Communicates project status with the appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in project leadership. Applies delivery framework and SDLC to projects.
  • Collaborates with other project managers to overcome challenges. Provides guidance to less experienced project managers.
  • Directs the activities of a geographically dispersed project team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of professional project management concepts, Company policies and procedures, and personal leadership to drive business outcomes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc. preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of agile and waterfall SDLC preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems that arise during project execution.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, coordinate efforts, and contribute to project goals.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Ability to organize project tasks, resources, and schedules.

  • Ability to be meticulous in project planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and five or more years of information technology or business work experience required.
  • Five or more years of increasingly complex project management experience preferred.
  • Project management industry best practice certifications (e.g., Scaled Agile Scrum Master, PMI PMP, ACP) preferred.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
