Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical modalities within Respiratory Care Services
  • Deliver respiratory care to patients of all age groups
  • Perform oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, ventilator management, and airway management
  • Assess staff blood gas competencies as needed

Requirements:

Educational Requirements:
  • Associate's degree

Additional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required for duties of a Technical Consultant

Experience:
  • No prior experience required
  • New graduates of accredited COARC respiratory therapy program accepted

State of Florida Licensure Requirements:
  • Must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist License

Certifications/Registration Requirements:
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
  • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association / Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Additional Requirements:
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP appropriate to population served
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications can be obtained within 6 months of hire
