About You:

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving scalable and automated solutions. In this prominent position, your expertise in systems engineering will be critical in defining products, devising solutions, identifying root causes, and implementing resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving innovation to enhance AMD's capabilities in product development and validation, encompassing tool and script advancement, technical and procedural method enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional ventures
  • Troubleshooting issues identified during SOC (System on a Chip) program initiation, validation, and production phases
  • Collaborating with multiple teams and overseeing test execution to ensure timely validation and optimization of all features
  • Working closely with support technical teams
  • Participating in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
  • Leading collaborative efforts with various teams
Preferred Experience:
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python)
  • Expertise in debugging techniques and methodologies
  • Familiarity with standard lab equipment such as protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Experience in board/platform-level debugging, encompassing delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
  • Knowledge of system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategies
Academic Credentials:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering
