The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is the sole nonprofit organization created by President Reagan charged with advancing his legacy and principles - individual liberty, economic opportunity, freedom and democracy, peace through strength, and national pride.


The Foundation is a non-partisan organization which sustains the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA, the Reagan Center for Public Affairs, the Presidential Learning Center, The Air Force One Pavilion, the award-winning Discovery Center, and the Reagan Institute, which carries out the Foundation's mission in Washington, DC.

Overview


The RRPFI is seeking a passionate digital content creator and skilled communicator with a proven track record in developing, launching, and growing digital content.

Proven success in social channels, website growth, SEO/SEM strategies and tactics, and more.

This role requires an ability to take existing (including archival) content and new content and crafting it for wide reach across digital media.

Success in the role includes significantly growing a digital audience for RRPFI.

The candidate needs to understand analytical tools and social marketing technology including platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as HootSuite, CloudPortal, Jaspar AI, and others.

The successful candidate will maintain the highest brand stewardship, following RRPFI's published branding and style guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, and working alongside the Manager, Social Media and Marketing, this role will be responsible for the creation and dissemination of compelling original and exclusive content, drawing on archival footage and entirely-new content. Content will be available on RRPFI's website and on Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning for campaign messaging, direction and execution.
  • Understand our target audience and tailor content to engage and captivate them, while helping to grow into new markets and channels.
  • Research and engage with influencers.
  • Monitor SEO, trends, keyword research, google analytics and web traffic metrics and adjust accordingly.
  • Develop tactics, plans, and tools that help achieve our business goals.
  • Work with designers to ensure content is informative, engaging and appealing; Work with our in-house Graphic Designers to create engaging and lead generating content.
  • Analyze trends and leverage social media to align with RRPFI's growth and the changing digital marketplace.
  • Design and execute paid ad campaigns that promote our brand and reach.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and implement relevant trends on our channels.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly performance and provide valuable insights, reporting, feedback, thoughts, and solutions to the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Chief Marketing Officer.
Skills and Qualifications Required

  • The successful candidate must be passionate about President Ronald Reagan's legacy and principles.
  • Proven experience in creating original digital content and launching it successfully.
  • Proven experience and success in driving subscriptions/followers/growth of channels.
  • Proven experience is boosting posts - both organic posts and advertising campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or policy-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years' experience in digital content creation.
  • Proven success in achieving digital KPIs.
  • Exceptional digital copywriting, content creation, and curation skills.
  • Ability to align social media strategies with overall business goals, contributing to growth and success.
  • Passionate, driven, and eager to make a real impact
  • Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Analytical ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to drive recommendations and optimizations.
  • Candidates with photography and videography skills are preferred.
  • Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to generate innovative content ideas while staying on-brand.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
