JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Supervisor, SBMHC

Location: School based mental health facility

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. 2-5 days working at the school site. On non-school days, work may be in-person or remote as assigned.

Union: Non-Union

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee therapists and Social Work Students at the OMH Licensed School Based Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) program, catering to ages 3 to 18, ensuring service quality, efficiency, productivity, and client engagement in compliance with regulatory standards and Bowen CSC guidelines.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to therapists and interns.
  • Monitor clinical productivity, documentation, and treatment planning.
  • Assist therapists in client discharge and appropriate referrals to external support services.
  • Conduct clinic audits; adhere to OMH reporting requirements. Ensure the program is consistently audit-ready.
  • Ensure clinical staff compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between clinicians and the program director regarding clinical requirements and other program-related issues.
  • Manage a client caseload and deliver a minimum of 50 service hours per month.
  • Make regular visits to assigned schools to interact with students and staff.
  • Provide training and consultations to supervised school staff.
  • Attend monthly meetings with school personnel.
Reports to: Program Director

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience:
  • LCSW qualification mandatory.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in various treatment modalities suitable for the program's clientele.
  • Completion of the SIFI or commitment to undertake it while supervising a minimum of 3 students.
