Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership for the EVS operating model within the local Market.
  • Build an equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team focused on safety and cleanliness.
  • Lead operational coordination for environmental services across multiple sites.
  • Establish policies and objectives to maintain a safe environment aligned with the organization's mission.
  • Direct day-to-day operations ensuring high cleanliness standards.
  • Plan and coordinate the overall operational model of Environmental Services.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement strategic plans for the Market and EVS department.
  • Develop comprehensive waste management programs in alignment with regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to environmental services.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and oversee contractors for external care sites.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Ensure institutional permits and licenses are current and maintained.
  • Calculate departmental costs for expansions and new buildings.
  • Integrate infection prevention and control guidelines within operations.
  • Develop a healthy work culture and nurture employee engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years in Environmental Services or hospital-related services.
  • 7 years in a director or manager role, preferably managing staff.
  • CHESP certification preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Project, PM software, and EVS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, TJC, DOT, CDC policies preferred.
