Job Overview:
The Design Center Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding customer experience and upholding the company's vision and values. This position requires effective leadership skills to guide the Design team and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide ongoing training to the Design team in management, presentation, and design standards.
  • Maintain current options based on market trends and buyer preferences.
  • Work with vendors to update product displays and manage inventory.
  • Set up training sessions for various teams on new products and general design knowledge.
  • Cultivate builder relationships to enhance customer experience.
  • Implement systems to improve Inspiration Gallery operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments for process enhancements.
  • Address customer service issues and resolve concerns.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and sales strategies.
  • Establish sales goals, provide support, and ensure team accountability.
  • Attend industry meetings and events as required.
  • Utilize analytics to drive sales and evaluate team performance.
  • Create customer-facing communications in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for interior finish selections.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Interior Design preferred.
  • Prior management and leadership experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Design Consultant experience.

Basic Information:

  • Location: Folsom, CA
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Competitive salary based on experience
