**Aircraft Mechanic Responsibilities:**

- Perform flight controls installation, removal, and rigging
- Conduct landing gear and aircraft servicing
- Change essential components like servo pumps, filters, and engine parts
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and specifications for structural modifications
- Access aircraft data via computer systems and process parts requests
- Maintain required certifications for assigned tasks
- Lead and train junior team members
- Prioritize workload for project timelines
- Ensure equipment is used following safety procedures
- Diagnose and fix malfunctions in assembly processes
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to check dimensions
- Work with Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems
- Collaborate with other team members to meet cost and schedule targets

**Basic Qualifications:**

- 9+ years of experience in Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance
- Expertise in aircraft exterior and interior systems
- Familiarity with schematics, specifications, and operating procedures
- Computer proficiency for accessing aircraft data
- Ability to work rotating shifts

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in aircraft engine runs and borescope inspections
- Operation of aircraft tug/tow vehicle, forklift, and other equipment
- Knowledge of systems like REDARS and/or Gold-ESP

**Education/Experience Requirements:**

- High school diploma or GED with 9+ years of related experience

**Perks:**

**Pay Range:**

- $74,880/Annual

**Additional Pay:**

- $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
- $1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
- $2.00/hourly for both Airframe & Powerplant Certifications
- $3.00/hr. increase upon receiving Special Program Access clearance

**Employment Details:**

- On-site position in San Antonio
- U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Top Secret Clearance required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to pass assessment at the end of training cycle

**Important Note:**

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite
