Job Summary:

This role involves being the main point of contact for service and maintenance for Trane Technologies customers predominantly in the Stanislaus County and San Joaquin County markets. You will work with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings. Your duties will require utilizing your expertise in air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. This position offers the chance to collaborate with internal and external partners on new facility setups and retrofits.

  • Responsible for end-to-end testing, programming, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
  • Acts as the direct customer contact for servicing products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with team leader/project manager and customers to meet on-site installation and repair requirements.
  • Utilizes advanced software, technology, and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
  • Maintains the highest safety standards and accountability of company assets.
  • Mentors team members and demonstrates dedication to customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 10+ years of HVAC experience. Technical School or formal training is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and handheld computers.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • EPA Certification Preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.).

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

  • Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and legally.
  • Required to wear appropriate safety gear and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must meet various physical requirements for the role.
  • Ability to work in different environmental conditions based on location.
