RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling
- Set up audio, video, and RF equipment
- Build cable pathway systems
- Read and interpret technical documents
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot failures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optics, copper cabling, network installation, and audio/video systems
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Ability to work with low voltage and fiber optic cables
- Knowledge of industry standards and telecom best practices
- Experience with audio, video, and wireless systems
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work at elevated heights and confined spaces
- Physical ability to lift moderately heavy materials
- Willingness to work in extreme outdoor environments
- Flexibility with working hours and travel
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Telecommunications Technician/Level 1:
$31.00/hour
Telecommunications Technician/Level 2:
$37.00/hour
Telecommunications Technician/Level 3:
$43.00/hour
