QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Human Resources Assistant or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to HR inquiries related to employment, benefits, training, and reports
- Explain policies and procedures to employees and supervisors
- Assist in benefits enrollment process and follow-up as necessary
- Support in onboarding new hires and performance management
- Coordinate and monitor training sessions
- Maintain accurate personnel records in physical and digital formats
- Handle HRIS data entry for new hires and updates
- Occasional travel within Northern California may be required
- Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned
This part-time position may transition to full-time during Summer based on business needs. On-site presence is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
