Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for an adaptable Shipping and Receiving Associate to add to our client's team based out of Fife, WA. In this position, you will be responsible for shipments in general (both receiving and outbound). If a discrepancy occurs you are the first point of contact and will work together with the plant manager to determine the correct course of action. To be successful you will need to be comfortable on the computer because this position will have you using the computer for various tasks such as creating shipping labels. Lastly, this is a position that will occasionally support the production department in producing products depending on demand. This is a great temp-to-hire position with room for growth with a great company.

Compensation: $20/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm, OT as needed

Location: Fife, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift
  • Review shipments to make sure that the product/material counts match
  • Pull and stage orders
  • Create shipping labels for orders
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Generate shipping labels for outbound shipments

Requirements:

  • Be able to commute to and from work on time consistently
  • Be able to pass a drug screen (not including THC) and a background check
  • Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly
  • Be comfortable operating a computer
